Awards

For the 2021 conference, we are offering the chance to win six awards.

The winner in each category will receive a cash prize of $250 AUD.

Judging of these awards will occur during the conference and winners will be announced during the conference’s final session.

Delegates should indicate at time of submission whether they wish to be considered for each award.

Delegates can be considered for more than one award.

Eligibility

Best Scientific Research Oral
  • Must present as an oral or 5×5 during the conference
  • Must have a focus on original research
  • Must have a paid registration to the conference prior to early-bird close
Best Program Implementation / Service Delivery / Policy Oral
  • Must present as an oral or 5×5 during the conference
  • Must have a focus on program implementation, service delivery or policy
  • Must have a paid registration to the conference prior to early-bird close
Best Student Oral
  • Must present as an oral or 5×5 during the conference
  • Must have a focus on scientific research, program implementation, service delivery or policy
  • Must have a paid registration to the conference prior to early-bird close
  • Must have registered at the student rate
  • Must be a student studying more than 0.5 FTE (or equivalent)
Best E-Poster
  • Must be present during the poster session(s)
  • Must have a paid registration to the conference prior to early-bird close
Best Oral Relevant to Māori
  • Must present as an oral or 5×5 during the conference
  • Must have a paid registration to the conference prior to early-bird close
  • Must be research from Aotearoa NZ
  • Must include Māori participants and/or has strong relevance to Māori
Best Oral Relevant to Aboriginal Australians
  • Must present as an oral or 5×5 during the conference
  • Must have a paid registration to the conference prior to early-bird close
  • Must be research from Australia
  • Must include Aboriginal participants and/or has strong relevance to Aboriginal Australians

Only high-quality presentations will be considered award worthy, ANZFPS reserves the right to not issue a prize in any and/or all of the categories.  Invited, funded, plenary speakers and ANZFPS executive committee members (aside from those who are students) are not eligible for these awards.
